What We Collect
CountyPulse does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII). We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. We do not require user accounts, logins, or registrations of any kind.
Hosting & Infrastructure
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect basic server-level metrics (request counts, bandwidth, error rates) as part of its standard infrastructure. These metrics are aggregated and do not identify individual visitors. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Cookies
CountyPulse does not set any first-party cookies. Cloudflare may set essential
security cookies (e.g., __cfruid)
to protect against automated abuse. These are strictly necessary and cannot be
used for tracking.
Third-Party Services
We load fonts from Google Fonts. Google may collect anonymized usage metrics when fonts are requested. No other third-party scripts, trackers, or analytics services are used on this site.
If you contact us via email at contact@countypulse.us, we will only use your email address to respond to your inquiry. We do not add contacts to mailing lists or share email addresses with third parties.
Data Sources
All county data displayed on this site is derived from publicly available federal datasets. We do not collect, store, or display any private citizen data. See our methodology page for the full list of data sources.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Since we do not collect user information, we have no way to notify visitors of changes directly.
